Beth D. Tractenberg concentrates her practice in the field of estate planning, with a focus on international estate planning, contested matters, estate administration, prenuptial agreements and nonprofit organizations. She advises high net worth individuals, family offices and family enterprises on all aspects of estate planning and cross-border tax planning, including succession planning for closely held businesses. Beth’s practice successfully balances intra-family dynamics with efficient tax planning.
Beth writes and lectures on developments in the law and unique estate planning techniques. She has presented to the Practising Law Institute, the Trusts and Estates Law Section of the New York State Bar Association, National Financial Partners and New York Society of Securities Analysts and before professional groups including accountants, investment advisors and insurance brokers. She served as an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, teaching Tax Exempt Organizations in the Graduate Taxation Program.
Beth is listed in Super Lawyers (2006 – 2013) and Top Women Lawyers – Trusts and Estate (2013). She is a Fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel.
Beth received her B.A. from Wesleyan University, Phi Beta Kappa and her J.D. from New York University School of Law, Order of the Coif.
