Michael Schwartz, New York Private Bank & TrustMICHAEL S. SCHWARTZ is Counsel at the law firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost Colt & Mosle LLP. His practice focuses on domestic and multijurisdictional estate and succession planning for high-net-worth individuals, extending to all facets of estate, gift and generation-skipping on estate and transfer tax planning. Mr. Schwartz’s practice also encompasses all phases of estate and trust administration. He represents fiduciaries, including banks and trust companies, and beneficiaries, in contested fiduciary matters. Mr. Schwartz also has extensive experience with gift and estate tax audits. Mr. Schwartz earned a B.S. from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.

Michael Meltzer-Tocqueville Asset MgmtMICHAEL T. MELTZER is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. He joined Tocqueville in 2008 and is a member of the Wealth Management Group. Mr. Meltzer is primarily responsible for asset allocation, portfolio analysis and trading, tax management, and client service. Prior to joining Tocqueville, Mr. Meltzer was an Associate Director and Assistant Portfolio Manager within the Specialized Investment Management Group at Bear Stearns Asset Management Inc. (BSAM). Mr. Meltzer earned a B.S. in Finance and International Business from New York University and a J.D. from Fordham University.

Sean Weissbart-Morris & McVeighSEAN R. WEISSBART is Counsel at the law firm Morris & McVeigh LLP. Mr. Weissbart’s trusts and estates practice focuses on domestic and international estate planning, the administration of trusts and estates, and representing beneficiaries and fiduciaries in contested matters in Surrogate’s Courts. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Weissbart was an associate at the law firm of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP in New York City. Mr. Weissbart earned a B.S. from New York University, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and LL.M from New York University School of Law.
